Bactest creates new company for Health Sector
Bactest has created a wholly owned subsidiary to exploit its proprietory platform CYTOMAIA in the Human Health Sector. The new company GEMINI Diagnostics Ltd will focus on human clinical applications of CYTOMAIA.

Collaborations Sought
Bactest’s technology platform CYTOMAIA has applications in a wide range of technical, market and commercial sectors.
Laboratory tests indicate that CYTOMAIA can reduce contamination testing in rapid release applications from 72 hours to under 8 hours and can be operated by non-technical staff.
Bactest actively seeks collaboration partners and customers with substantial inventory throughput who require improved product release time. The objective is to design CYTOMAIA into a rapid release product aimed at reducing inventory release time and cost.
Collaboration to achieve a dedicated presentation for particular process conditions is welcomed.
Rapid contamination tests performed appropriately to batch and shift patterns can facilitiate rapid release of product, reducing overall production costs and logistical issues.
