Mike Younghusband

In May 2009 Mike joined Bactest as Commercial Director to head up the Sales and Marketing functions, working closely with Robert Isaacs to develop Bactest's Human Clinical applications Company Gemini Diagnostics.

Mike has over 35 years experience in Diagnostics and Healthcare within a sales and marketing environment, managing various functions in multinational companies including BBI Healthcare Ltd where he spent a time as Chief Executive Officer. Mike spent seven years as Managing Director of Axis – Shield Diagnostics ( UK) Ltd.

At Organon Teknika Ltd he spent two years as Senior Product Specialist and seven years as Sales and Marketing Manager running a sales team, and responsible for marketing Infectious diseases, POC, molecular and autoimmune products.

Previous experience includes Helena Laboratories (UK Sales / Marketing Manager), Northumbria Biologicals Ltd (UK Sales / Marketing Manager & Product Specialist), Abbott Diagnostics (Product Specialist & Sales Specialist)
