Bactest creates new company for Health Sector

Bactest has created a wholely owned subsidiary to exploit proprietory platform technologies in the Human Health Sector. The new company GEMINI Diagnostics Ltd will initially commercialise the DUOBAC range of Blood Culture products.

Due to be unvieled at the IBMS in Birmingham in September, DUOBAC represents a significant advance in the potential to customise working practices in line with the local requirements of healthcare providers with a view to providing the most efficient, cost effective and rapid microbiology service.

Gemini Diagnostics will be spearheaded by Robert Isaacs and Mike Younghusband who have joined the board of directors in commercial positions.
