The bench-top, compact unit is totally self-contained and has a very small power requirement.

The cost of individual units is well within operational rather than capital budgets offering the possibility of early adoption of the Bactest instruments.

The design concept effectively changes market rules in terms of capital outlay and customer support infrastructure, opening market segments currently unmet by existing machines.

Since the basic unit is modular, the system is infinitely scalable and can grow as arrays of modules aggregated into static housings appropriate to the specific spacial constraints of the individual laboratory.

The Modules are self-indicating and display results via LED dispay however data handling may also be set up for interrogation by PC either as individual modules or multiple arrays and can be as complex or simple as the particular circumstances require.

Because each unit within a multiple array remains entirely autonomous, it means that any issues affecting one module, and associated samples, have no influence or consequences for other units in operation at the same time.
