Tamper-Evident Seals

Culture Vessels are equipped with a tamper-evident seal and two-part, identical bar codes indicating batch number, identity and expiry information.

For digital or numeric tracking of samples and cultures, bar codes are incorporated to allow integration with QA systems and laboratory IT systems.

When the tamper evident seal is broken, one half of the bar code can be easily removed and attached to day books or documentation that accompanies the sample or test. The second portion is firmly attached to the culture vessel.
